Agribusiness is one of the most important sectors both for the African food security as 21% of Africa’s population is malnourished.

The role played by Agribusiness is vital in economic development as it contributes to a major part of GDP, employment and foreign exchange earnings in many developing countries. This statement is even more valid in Africa where agriculture accounts for 25% of the continent’s GDP, and 70% of employment.
