Around 47% of Africans have little or no access to basic health care services and more than 800 million Africans do not have sufficient sanitation facilities. Nearly 300 million people live without access to clean and healthy water, with catastrophic health and quality of life.

Finding solutions for health sector issues is the base over which education, employment, and other important sectors will prosper, and consequently accelerate the economic and social growth of Africa.
